Simba Series

This series explores the life and death of my beloved cat Simba. Much of the art was created in the depths of grief, imagining that he is somewhere restful and happy. His favourite food was lasagna, and he enjoyed a cup of cream while I had my coffee every morning. He loved being outside, in the grass, and he loved breakfast time. He was a fiend for bacon, and more than once snatched a piece of ham from the kitchen counter. He was the friendliest and happiest cat I have ever known and I miss him dearly. I try to carry his lessons about life, to enjoy your simple pleasures often and wholeheartedly, to stick to comfortable routines, to get outside every day, and get a full nights sleep each night, to rest lots and allow for plenty of relaxation time, to not take yourself too seriously and joke around, to be curious, to be friendly, and to make the most of every golden moment life has to offer.
