Alt is a game made to be played by anyone, anywhere. It is largely a game of chance, with some obvious strategy involved, and is intended as somewhere between tic tac toe and checkers for length and difficulty. I made 42 games, many of which have been distributed to friends and family and all of which were made for a specific person. These were handcrafted using only the finest big-brand cardboard mailers and cake circles. I carved lino blocks and hand printed the box designs, boards, and hand painted the game pieces and die. I created a version that is playable without the board and made a eye-spy style card to explain the rules. See below and try for yourself!
